Ха, так в том то и дело, что у него черезчур правильный анлийский. Мой 10-летний опыт на фрилансе говорит о том, что сложнее всего вести переговоры как раз с англичанами. А тут я понял всё, до единого слова, как будто это турок, итальянец или русский, пишущий по-английски. Сокращений и фразеологизмов у него практически нет. Да и запятых он понараставлял слишком дофига. В английских предложениях запятых в 5 раз меньше, чем в русских. Англичане почему-то запятыми вообще не заморачиваются.

П.С. И страдательного залога у него тоже нет. А в английском его используют намного чаще, чем в русском.

Да, не обратил внимание. Запятые и английский почти не совместимы :D

Люди есть разные, говорят и пишут по разному, те с кeм я общаюсь пишут в основном грамотно, и не страдают косноязычием.

Определить по написанному родной ли aнглийский невозможно.

Friends, I've been doing geopolitical analysis and I think I've found a solution! Let Russian have the Donbas region of Ukraine, or at least let Donbas be independent.

- Mostly ethnic Russians live there, so democratically most citizens would prefer this, right?
- Will stop the fighting in the region.
- Kharkov is outside the Donbas region, so no stress to you guys.

It's like when Yugoslavia broke into smaller countries. Each separate country is happier now.

Does anyone here care if the Donbas region goes independent? Is it economically important to Ukraine like manufacturing industry, agriculture and stuff? If not, just chill!

The problem is western governments are afraid of supporting independent breakaways. UK and Scotland, Spain and Catalonia, Germany and Bavaria, etc. Ruling governments don't want to support this idea. Not for the benefit of Ukraine, but because of totally selfish reasons.

This is why you guys should think twice about bullshit from the west. Avoid being a worm on a big western hook. Ukraine should be economic/cultural partners with the west AND with Russia, but without military attachment to either. Why one or the other?
Forget NATO - Not A Trusted Organisation.

Let's give peace a chance!
 
let russian have east of england if you love them so much... don't be selfish
or present them oxford - russian could move skolkovo there and teach you how to be a real scientists

Why Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland cannot be separate countries? It's so easy to split at several countries like Yugoslavia.
(of course a part of my question is about 1000 years late but sounds similar to yours now)

I am fascinated with people that are generous with other people's money and with other countries' territory.

It's easy to be generous with other countries' territory, but what is Great Britain willing to give up to appease Russia?

Take your "geopolitical analysis", wrap it in your "solution", and stick it up your a$$.

Ukraine has the right to defend its territory against russian invasion, by any means necessary, and thank God for the help West is providing.

The West, including Great Britain, compelled Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons, so we better fulfil our obligations under Budapest memorandum.

Mate, you are 100% right - most Brits are ignorant and couldn't care less about Ukraine! This is what I'm saying! Don't rely on British politicians who are failing at home. Every politician wants war to distract from local problems.
My interest in Ukraine started with Ukrainian girlfriends in the past, and now it's because of customer business in Kiev. I sell software!

Yeah, actually there's already peace and stability in Northern Ireland with the Good Friday agreement since the last 20 years or so. All parties (Northern Ireland protestant and catholic representation, Republic of Ireland, and UK) signed up to it. Was complicated, needed US to make it happen.

If you wanna look for parallels, in that situation Northern Ireland would be Donbas, Ukraine would be UK, and Republic of Ireland would be Russia. Believe it or not.

The solution would be for Donbas to have autonomy like Northern Ireland, and representation in Ukrainian government. Then the pro-Russians in Donbas can exist peacefully in Ukraine and maintain cultural connection with Russia. Just like Irish in Northern Ireland with the south. It WORKS!
- This was what the Minsk agreement was supposed to do, right? Someone please tell Ukraine's a$$hole president to stop shouting for western weapons and just comply with the agreement!

There you go - together we solved it!
